Charlie Joe Jackson's Guide to Not Reading by Tommy Greenwald (Roaring Brook Press 2011) This was a funny book about a really smart kid who will do anything to avoid reading a book! He is also the man with the plan. Unfortunately, his best laid plans don't quite work out the way he expected. This is a great boy book, a funny read-aloud and perfect for middle-school readers.
