Emily's Christmas Gifts by Ciny Post Senning and Peggy Post ( Harper Collins 2008) is a fabulous read-aloud for the holiday season. It has a great message about how the things we do for each other, which don't cost a thing, are the most special gifts we can give. A helping hand, a hug, a little extra time, etc. She writes a letter to say thank you too. Great for preschool- elementary.
